Daniel Abbott has been keen to represent the town for
many years as he feels that fresh and new ideas need to be brought
forward. He was born in Bishop’s
Stortford and has lived in town for 30 years.
Bishop’s Stortford is facing many changes and Daniel
would like to represent the electorate’s views through the Council. He feels very strongly that resident’s views
should be heard and realised by those who are in decision making positions.
He has been in full-time employment within the care
industry. This has allowed him to work
with both adults and children with varying degrees of learning
disabilities. He is focused on improving
the quality of care received by all. He has also been involved in working with local and
national charities and has taken active roles within various fundraising
ventures many of which have benefited the town.
He would like to further his commitment to local charities and
fundraising activities.
If elected, Daniel promises to listen to the local
people’s wishes for the future of their neighbourhood. He will continue to work closely with them,
in bringing about the changes that they would like to see.
